‘Don’t Stop Believing’ that ‘Jesse’s Girl’ could ‘Take on Me’

RALEIGH, NC – October 18, 2007 – What do Rick Springfield, a-ha, and Steve Perry have in common besides 80s hair, number-one hits, or the infectious beat of their songs? Their fans have immortalized them on Lulu.com.  No need to go ‘Hunting High and Low’, because now you can find or make your own ‘fan’tastic items on Lulu.com.

If you ever wanted to know when a-ha got together or when the band members’ birthdays are, never fret because with the unofficial a-ha calendar (http://www.lulu.com/content/568414), you can track important dates from their 20 year career as well as remembering your own.  This weekly agenda was created from forum members on a-ha’s official fan site, www.a-ha.com.  This is not only a collaborative project but a testament to their love for their favorite Norwegian band.

Another collaborative effort from fans is the RLS Cookbook (http://www.lulu.com/content/30255).  Over 300 Rick Springfield enthusiasts contributed recipes like ‘Affair of the Heart Brownies’ and ‘Working Class Punch’; even Mr. Springfield added a few recipes himself.  This cookbook doesn’t just rock your taste buds, but warms your heart since it also raises funds for one of Rick Springfield’s favorite charities, the Ronald McDonald House in Tucson, Arizona.

You’ve marked your calendar and made your brownies, now curl up with a good book, “Steve Perry – A Singer’s Journey” by Laura Cucu (http://www.lulu.com/content/369518), an unofficial story of Journey’s lead singer, Steve Perry.   As a former mass media journalist, Cucu became a fan of Perry’s after hearing him sing. “This is my tribute to an artist who inspired and swept away generations of people” says Cucu in the book’s introduction.

Whether you are a long time devotee or have a passion for a different rock star, Lulu.com has all the publishing tools you need to create that one of a kind tribute.
